Nancy Lorence is the Coordinator of the Metro NYCatholic Climate Movement, a chapter of the global Laudato Si’ Movement. She is also the founder and steering committee member of the St. Francis Xavier Environmental Ministry. She was honored with the PCMNY Eileen Egan Peacemaker Award for 2020-21. A Laudato Si’ Animator and Climate Reality Leader, Nancy brings extensive experience from her two decades working with NYC’s garment workers’ union and human rights movements in Central America, where she lived for nearly ten years. Her passion for environmental justice drives her commitment to addressing climate change for the well-being of the planet and its people.

Marian Ronan has worked in the environmental justice and antiwar movements for decades, including serving on the board of Pax Christi Metro New York. Between1998 and 2023, Marian was a professor of religion at two successive African-American theological seminaries. A prolific writer, she is the author or co-author of seven books and hundreds of articles.
