JOIN Marie Dennis , July 9 – 14, 2023 for a series of discussions at The Maryknoll Sisters Center in Ossining NY. This program will explore nonviolence as a spirituality, a way of life, a global ethic and a spectrum of approaches to preventing or interrupting violence and promoting just peace, the beloved community, the New Creation.
Join several hundred people in one of the largest public Christian peace witnesses in New York City. In this our forty-first year Pax Christi Metro New York will commemorate Good Friday as a modern-day enactment of the Stations of the Cross, praying for peace and justice on the streets of our city.
This year our Annual Good Friday Way of the Cross will be an in person event. As we plan this event we seek to know the needs of those who will walk and pray with us.
The Walk will take place in person, from 8:30 am to 12pm on Good Friday, April 7th.
On February 14, several members of Pax Christi Metro New York joined other groups in protest outside the Lockheed Martin offices, 420 Lexington Avenue, NYC. At issue was Lockheed Martin’s massive contribution to the production of war materials.

A PCMNY member visited this exhibit in Times Square in the later part of May,2022. Everyday, as a part of this art installation, balloons that were intended to mimic a nuclear warhead were handed out at the exhibit site at 4pm daily. This is a project of Pedro Reyes with sponsorship by ICAN and the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists.
