Pax Christi Metro New York
invites you to a Retreat via Zoom
with
Fr. Terrence Moran
Fr. Terrence Moran has ministered in spiritual direction retreats, and the training of spiritual directors in both English and Spanish for more than 40 years. He currently ministers as the Director of the Office of Peace, Justice and Ecological Integrity of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth in New Jersey. He is one of the founders of The Daniel Berrigan Collective for Community, Contemplation and Resistance.
Mystics teach us to read our own lives as a sacred text. In being contemplatively present to their own experience, they birthed stunningly original images of the Divine to empower radically new ways of life on earth. This retreat will draw on the riches of the mystical tradition as a wellspring of our own journey to become “contemplactivists.”
By popular request, a YouTube copy of the March 19 Retreat is posted here. Drawing on the teachings of mystics from Rumi, Dorothee Soelle, Thomas Berry and the Appalachian People’s Pastoral and then the work of artists depicting the Last Supper, the Trinity, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and Kwan Yen, to name a few, Fr. Terry Moran led us in contemplative ideas regarding peace and justice for our times.
