Please join us on Good Friday, April 3, 2026 @ 8:30am (47th St. @ 1st Av.)
We meet at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza (at 47th Street) to walk and pray the Stations of the Cross.
We will begin at 8:30 am and look forward to praying with you on this 44th Way of the Cross.

Join several hundred people in one of the largest public Christian peace witnesses in New York City. In this our forty-fourth year, Pax Christi Metro New York will commemorate Good Friday as a modern-day enactment of the Stations of the Cross, praying for peace and justice on the streets of our city. We remember that throughout our life Jesus calls us to active non-violence. This year our theme is “Given these times, what would Jesus do/say?”
The Walk will take place from 8:30 am to 12pm on Good Friday, April 3rd, 2026. We begin at Dag Hammarskjöld Plaza (47th St. at First Ave.) and proceed along 42nd Street to between Eighth and Ninth Avenues.
PLEASE WEAR OR CARRY A CROSS
