The document, to be delivered this week to a State Dept office in Buffalo, lists the US laws pertaining to war being violated by our government’s current support of Israel.

Nominate a Young Peacebuilder for 2024!

Pax Christi Metro New York (PCMNY) is inviting nominations for the Maloof Family Young Peacebuilder Award, recognizing high school students’ peacebuilding contributions. The award, inspired by the Maloof family, offers a $1000 gift and a certificate. The award is aimed at Juniors, enabling incorporation into college applications and fostering a relationship with PCMNY. The nomination deadline is December 19, 2023, and the award will be presented in early June 2024.

78th Anniversary of the Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki

Pax Christi Metro New York invites you to join in Prayer and Public Witness on the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of the Bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Aug. 5th at Noon In Manhattan – Gandhi Statue  at West Side of Union Square Park near 14th Street. There will be Prayer for those who have suffered the effects of nuclear weapons development and use.

NONVIOLENCE: The Connecting Thread in Our Work for the New Creation

This program will explore nonviolence as a spirituality, a way of life, a global ethic and a spectrum of approaches to preventing or interrupting violence and promoting just peace, the beloved community, the New Creation.

The 41st Annual Way of the Cross

Join several hundred people in one of the largest public Christian peace witnesses in New York City. In this our forty-first year Pax Christi Metro New York will commemorate Good Friday as a modern-day enactment of the Stations of the Cross, praying for peace and justice on the streets of our city.
This year our Annual Good Friday Way of the Cross will be an in person event. As we plan this event we seek to know the needs of those who will walk and pray with us.
The Walk will take place in person, from 8:30 am to 12pm on Good Friday, April 7th.
