Please join us to remember, mourn, and pray for Jean Wilson Brutus (a 41 year old man who killed by ICE at Delaney Hall on Dec. 12 2025), Renee Nicole Good (a 37 year old woman killed by ICE in Minneapolis on Jan. 7 2026) and all others brutally murdered by ICE. We will communally recite Matins and Vespers of the Office of the Dead dedicated to the victims of ICE followed by a prayer service for those who have been murdered.

Join several hundred people in one of the largest public Christian witnesses for peace in New York City. In this, our 43rd year, Pax Christi Metro New York will commemorate Good Friday as a modern-day enactment of the Stations of the Cross, praying for peace and justice on the streets of our city. We remember that throughout our lives, Jesus calls us to active non-violence.

This year our theme is, “In a time of polarization and conflict, how do we follow the path of Jesus?”

This mass mobilization day is our message to the world that we do not consent to the destruction of our government and our economy for the benefit of Trump and his billionaire allies. Nominate a Young Peacebuilder for 2025!

Pax Christi Metro New York invites Catholic High Schools in the Archdiocese of NY and Brooklyn Diocese to celebrate young peacebuilders. The Maloof Family Young Peacebuilder Award recognizes and encourages high school students engaged in peace-promoting activities, enhancing awareness of their contributions, inspired by the Maloof family’s support. Nominations are now open.

Supporting student protests for ceasefire and divestment

PCMNY has signed a letter supporting student protests and campaigns for ceasefire in Gaza and divestment from Israel. Please read and consider signing this letter as an individual.  FOSNA is promoting the letter in light of the new rules and restrictions meant to quell protests on campuses.
