Join several hundred people in one of the largest public Christian witnesses for peace in New York City. In this, our 43rd year, Pax Christi Metro New York will commemorate Good Friday as a modern-day enactment of the Stations of the Cross, praying for peace and justice on the streets of our city. We remember that throughout our lives, Jesus calls us to active non-violence.
This year our theme is, “In a time of polarization and conflict, how do we follow the path of Jesus?”

Pax Christi Metro New York invites attendees to a Zoom presentation by Dr. Susan Calef on April 6, 2025, at 3pm EST, titled “Us/Them? Peace in the Jesus Way.” The session will explore biblical principles of peace, justice, and love to address current societal conflicts, including a Q&A segment. RSVP by 3/30/25.
Pax Christi Metro New York invites Catholic High Schools in the Archdiocese of NY and Brooklyn Diocese to celebrate young peacebuilders. The Maloof Family Young Peacebuilder Award recognizes and encourages high school students engaged in peace-promoting activities, enhancing awareness of their contributions, inspired by the Maloof family’s support. Nominations are now open.
