PCMNY Statement on U.S.-Israel Military Action Against Iran

Pax Christi Metro New York joins our peace-minded brothers and sisters in responding in horror to the action initiated by the United States and Israel against Iran. The world deserves that diplomacy be used to resolve issues and disputes.

War is not the answer. We call upon Congress to intervene in this illegal and unjust action.

43rd Annual Good Friday Way of the Cross

Friday, April 18, 2025

East 47th Street at 1st Avenue 8:30 a.m.

Join several hundred people in one of the largest public Christian witnesses for peace in New York City. In this, our 43rd year, Pax Christi Metro New York will commemorate Good Friday as a modern-day enactment of the Stations of the Cross, praying for peace and justice on the streets of our city. We remember that throughout our lives, Jesus calls us to active non-violence.

This year our theme is, “In a time of polarization and conflict, how do we follow the path of Jesus?”
